These are the e-mails we really "love" to receive:
"After seeing your "Dog of the Month" web page, I wanted
to let you know about my Clumber Spaniel bitch and the great
results I have had with Duurstede products. I was using a
whitening shampoo on her and although it does not bleach, it
was too harsh for regular use. I was damaging her coat and
could ill-afford to do that. Clumber bitches usually have
less hair than the boys, but my bitch has even less than
typical. (We like to say we can't tell if she's "out of
coat" or not...she never has any at all!) I started looking
for a good conditioner to use after the whitening shampoo
and a friend suggested I check out Duurstede.
I purchased the starter kit, but initially used only the
Duurstede Conditioner with the Duurstede Additive. I was
extremely pleased with the results so I added the Duurstede
Revitalizer to our pre-show grooming regime. More great
results! Finally, I gave the Shampoo a try. While I still
use my whitening shampoo right before shows, Duurstede
Shampoo is used for in-between show baths. I never bathe her
without using the Conditioner, Additive, and Revitalizer.
She's keeping the coat she has and it is staying in
excellent condition.
Amazingly, she looks like she has hair! She finished last
May at 16 months, with a BOB out of the classes for 5pts.
The week before she finished, she had a group placement. She
ended 1999 with 14 BOB wins, and started 2000 off with a BOS
at American Spaniel Club. This is far beyond my wildest
dreams, or that of her breeder.
This is a bitch who was the runt of her litter and is very
very feminine (in a breed where boys dominate and doggy
bitches tend to do much better than bitchy ones). She's at a
further disadvantage because I am her handler and she's my
very first show dog. We couldn't have done this well without
good hair. And we wouldn't have the hair without
Duurstede."
